Todd W. Robinson; bass-baritone is a native of Montrose,
Pennsylvania. He has recently made his debut with Lyric Opera
Cleveland as Horace in Blitzstein's Regina. He
has been a member of Tri-Cities Opera Resident Artist Training
Program in Binghamton, NY for the past six years. He has appeared
on the TCO opera stage as Frank in Die Fledermaus,
Mephistopheles in Faust, the Bonze in Madama
Butterfly, Sarastro in The Magic Flute,
the Wazir in Kismet, Oroveso in Norma,
Crespel in The Tales of Hoffmann, and Balthazar
in Amahl and the Night Visitors, as well as Sparafucile
in Rigoletto, and the Old Hebrew in Samson et Dalila.
He has also appeared on the stage with Ithaca Opera, Opera IV,
a guest artist on the concert stage at Mansfield University and
as an Assistant Director with Gary Race in La Cenerentola
in Cleveland. Mr. Robinson was the 1999 recipient of the Richard
F. Gold Career Grant presented by Tri-Cities Opera. |
